Modular General

For Top-Up students
You must ask the students at the time of booking if they have their previous coursework and certificate.

If the students have done their level 1 or level 2 FS training with other providers (not FSTC) then they will need to send in their coursework and a copy of their certificate at the time of booking. This will enable you to look through their coursework, see that it is complete (that they have covered all of the AC's for module 1and/or 2 to the required level). You can ask for extra work at this point if there are gaps, as you won't be able to ask this later on. The extras can be in the form of specific questions from our level 1 & 2 workbooks and requested specific questions to be answered in order to fill the gaps. Their final coursework portfolio will then be a combination of their level 1 or level 2 plus extras you have asked for and then their coursework for modules 3,4,5 & 6.

If the students cannot produce their coursework but they do have the certificate then they will need to complete the modular workbooks to replace the missing coursework. You can charge extra for this as it will be extra marking time for you (so their top-up course fee will be more with this added in).
Do check the certificate to ensure it is a certificate, not just an 'attendance' certificate as we have seen these from Archimedes in some instances.

Top-Up 1/3
Some students have completed level 1 FS and want to top-up to level 3.
Students will need to ensure they have:
their level 1 coursework (as this will need to be sent in with their final level 3 portfolio)
their level 1 certificate (if they have not trained with FSTC)

Top-Up 2/3
For students who have completed level 2 FS Assistant and want to top-up to level 3.
Students will need to ensure they have:
their level 2 coursework (as they will need this as part of their final level 3 portfolio).
their level 2 certificate (if they have not trained with FSTC)
