Standard format level 3 - for tutors
The course
The level course is called "Forest School Practitioner Award' and it consists of three units:
Practical Skills and Woodland Management (PS&WM)
Learning & Development (L&D)
Establishment & Delivery (E&D).
The course can be taught as a 5-day course together with 3-day practical skills assessment and a half-day tutorial.
Students will need to in their own time
plan and run a 6-week FS Programme (consecutive weeks, with same group of children in an outdoor setting (preferably wooded)
observe three children over those six sessions and write up their observations of the impact of FS on their learning.
